Creative Producer

Bianca is a creative multidisciplinary artist who works as an actor, writer, musician, fabric artist, and video artist.

Bianca studied acting at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She also has a BA in Theatre from Antioch College (1996) and an MFA in Fine Art (2017) from the University of Minnesota. She is on a break from earning an MA in Interdisciplinary Music Studies at Berklee College of Music, where she studies interdisciplinary music studies.

Dynamic Duo

Beatrix*Jar is Bianca Janine Pettis (Beatrix) and Jacob Aaron Roske (JAR).

Formed in 2003. Beatrix*Jar explores music and play through festivals, sound art events, murals, set design, videos, live performances, and sound art workshops.

The duo’s collaboration has produced over 21 years of creativity and play.

JAR

Jacob is a prolific artist with Hydrocephalus and epilepsy.

“I am always making something or combining something with another to try and make a new, indeterminate object. I work in several different mediums: sound art, painting, screen printing, sewing, sculpture, woodworking, projections, murals, and theatre.
