BEATRIX*JAR

Where music, video, visual art, and performance converge.

Beatrix*JAR is a creative duo that makes fun, interactive art full of possibilities. From video art and interactive performances to music production and visual storytelling, we’re passionate about exploring the boundaries of multimedia creativity and inviting audiences to engage in playful, open-ended experiences.

At the heart of our practice is a love for music-making. Our journey started with experimental sound art and circuit bending and has evolved to bring together everything we love: visual art, video art, music, and performance, culminating in the spontaneous energy of live, immersive interaction. We draw inspiration from the Fluxus movement, John Cage, punk, jazz, improv, and the spirit of play. Our work has been showcased at the Andy Warhol Museum, the Walker Art Center, and the Hammer Museum—but we're just getting started.

We believe in the power of art to transform spaces and engage people in unexpected ways. We create art that isn't just meant to be seen—it's meant to be experienced. Whether it's a video installation, a live performance, or a new form of digital play, our goal is simple: make art that connects, surprises, and sparks creativity.
